Simon Gallup

Simon Born June 1st, 1960 in Duxhurst, England

Replacing Michael Dempsey on bass, Simon entered the band for the first time on 16th November, 1979 when they played at Eric's in Liverpool. His tenure was short lived, though, as he left the band shortly after the Porn Tour citing conflicts with Robert. Robert asked Simon back in February of 1985 for the recording of 'The Head On The Door'. Simon's first show back was 20th June, 1985 at studio 54 in Barcelona, Spain. Simon remains as the group's current bass player.
