Philip Thornalley

Born January 5th, 1960 in London, England
Phil began his involvement with The Cure when he co-engineered and co-produced 'Pornography'. A new bassist was needed
with the departure of Simon Gallup
and Phil took over. His first show on stage was 27th July, 1983 at Midnight Express in Bournemouth,
England. His stay with the group lasted through the end of The Top Tour having his final
performance 17th November, 1984 at Beacon Theatre in New York City, New York. Simon came
back relieving Phil of his role in the band.
